Andi – A new way to contact us by phone
When you call the practice, you now have the option to speak with 'Andi', our AI phone assistant.
Andi will take down the details of your request – whether it’s a medical concern, a prescription query, or an admin question – and pass it straight to our team for review.
There’s no waiting on hold. Your request is dealt with in the same way as if you’d spoken to a receptionist or submitted an online form, and it will be reviewed by a member of our clinical or admin team as appropriate.
If at any point you’d prefer to speak to a person, just let Andi know and you’ll be transferred to our reception team.

- What is Andi?
Andi is an AI phone assistant that can take your request when you call the practice. It works alongside our reception team, not instead of them. - How does it work?
Andi will ask you about the reason for your call and gather the key details. Your request then appears in the same system our team uses to review all patient queries, whether they come in online or by phone. - Do I have to use it?
No. If you’d prefer to speak to a member of staff, you can ask to be transferred at any time. - Is it safe?
Yes. Andi is provided by Anima, an NHS-approved supplier. All calls are recorded and stored securely in line with NHS data protection standards. No clinical decisions are made by Andi – your request is always reviewed by a member of our team. - What can I use it for?
You can use Andi for medical queries, appointment requests, prescription queries, referral questions, and other admin requests – the same things you’d normally call about. - What if it’s an emergency?
If Andi identifies that your situation may be an emergency, it will direct you to call 999 or attend A&E immediately.
